Full balance is due at the time of booking. No refunds are given for cancellations. In the event of a cancellation, you can put your paid balance towards your rescheduled booking. Cancellations/rescheduling must take place prior to 72 days before reservation.

FAQs

What is the check-in process like?

When you arrive at your time of booking, a studio manager will let you in and provide you with a quick tour of the studio. They will also go over the policies and answer any questions you have. They are also available to help move furniture around if needed.

Can I arrive early to set up for my session?

You will not have access to the studio until the exact start time of your booking. The studio may be already book before your start time so we ask that you respect those who are using the space before you. You are always welcome to reach out to us before your booking time to see if there is any wiggle room.

What happens if go over my scheduled time?

We do ask that you respect the timeframe booked for your session as the space may be rented out to other parties. It is important to include set up and clean up in your booking time frame so you do not go over your scheduled time. If you do go over your scheduled time, you will be charged by the half an hour you go over. It will be billed to your card on file.

Does my booking include any equipment?

Your booking includes everything that is listed in the Props & Equipment section of The Studio page. In the future, we will have more equipment available that will be included in the base cost or available to rent. If there are any specific items you are looking for, let us know!

Are pets allowed?

Yes! Pets are allowed in the studio. You will need to pay a pet fee at the time of booking. Owners will be responsible for their pets, especially if they make a mess or cause any damage.

Is there anything that isn’t allowed in the studio?

Glitter, confetti, open flames, and the consumption of drugs and alcohol are not allowed in and around the studio.

What are your COVID protocols?

We require everyone to wear a mask in the studio whether they are vaccinated or not. You are allowed to take your mask off once you are in front of the camera for photos or filming. We have hand sanitizers and Clorox wipes available throughout the studio to make sure everything is properly sanitized. If you or any of your guests feel ill, we will ask that they do not enter the studio.

When is the best time of day to shoot?

The diffused light is great from sun up to sundown. The studio windows face both North and West. About an hour before sunset, the studio gets direct sun (if it is a clear day) that hits the Eastern walls.

What if I need to reschedule my booking?

We ask that if you need to reschedule a booking, you do it at least 72 hours in advance. We don’t provide refunds for cancelations but if you do need to reschedule but don’t have a new date in mind yet, we will provide a studio credit that you can use at a future date.

Is any type of shoot or event allowed at the studio?

We don’t allow any adult material such as pornography or any other illegal activity of any kind to be filmed or photographed in our studio.

How many people are allowed at the studio?

For photo/video productions, we limit the number of people to 15. If your booking will have more than 15 people, we will require that you book the studio under our Event Booking. Please reach out to us for more information about Events.

Do you allow video and audio recording?

Our studio is not a sound stage but we do allow for both video and audio recordings. We cannot guarantee that the space will be adequate for recording due to other businesses and busy streets nearby. If we are notified ahead of time, we can follow up with our neighbors and ask them to refrain from playing any loud music during your booked time — this can’t be guaranteed but we will try our best to help!
